It's Halloween this Saturday, so of course "Ghosts In The Machine is my pick of the week! And here are some other choice selections over the next seven days on British TV:

MONDAY 26th

Oops TV (Sky1, 6pm) Home camera outtakes.
Restaurant In Your Home (BBC2, 8.30pm) Two restaurateurs show a couple how to turn their flat into a restaurant.
Don't Get Screwed (BBC3, 8.30pm) Consumer advice series.
Dollhouse (ITV4, 9pm) Terrestrial airing of the sci-fi drama from Joss Whedon.
The Apprentice USA (BBC1, 11.20pm) Season 4 of the US reality show.

TUESDAY 27th

James May's Top Toys (BBC2, 8pm) Series where James May tests old-fashioned toys with a series of challenges.
Horizon: Fix Me (BBC2, 9pm) Documentary following three people with untreatable conditions.
Ghosts In The Machine (BBC4, 9pm) Documentary charting the history of how ghosts and the supernatural have been portrayed on British television, featuring kid's drama The Stone Tapes, infamous mockumentary Ghostwatch, some spooky Derren Brown illusions, classic telefantasy Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), supernatural drama Sea Of Souls, and many more.

Ross Kemp Remembers Afghanistan (Sky1, 9.30pm) Retrospective documentary.

WEDNESDAY 28th

Waterloo Road (BBC1, 8pm) Series 5 of the school drama.
Midsomer Murders (ITV1, 8pm) Murder-mystery drama.
Britain's Best Brain (Five, 8pm) Gameshow to find the country's best brain. Hosted by Zoe Ball & Jamie Theakston.
Andrew Marr's The Making Of Modern Britain (BBC2, 9pm) Six-part series looking at the UK in the early-20th century.
Did Heston Change The Little Chef? (Channel 4, 9pm) Heston Blumenthal reveals whether or not his challenge to improve the fortunes of the famous motorway restaurant worked.

THURSDAY 29th

The Restaurant (BBC2, 8pm) Series 3 of the reality show where couples compete to open a restaurant. Hosted by Raymond Blanc.
Cutting Edge: Katie - My Beautiful Face (Channel 4, 9pm) Documentary about wannabe model Katie, who had acid thrown in her face and is now recovering from her ordeal.
