Happy 40th, Monty Python!

40 years ago tonight, Monty Python's Flying Circus burst onto British screens, and the rest is history. It made global stars of John Cleese, Michael Palin, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, Eric Idle and Terry Gilliam, and its influence continues to radiate across the comedy landscape.
