A lot of new shows starting this week, so here's my pick of the best for British audiences:
MONDAY 7th
Britain's Best Dish (ITV1, 5pm) Cookery gameshow.Land Girls (BBC1, 5.15pm) Drama focusing on The Women's Land Army.
The Restaurant: The Winner's Story (BBC2, 9pm) Catch-up with the winner of the 2008 series.
Portrait Of Scotland (BBC4, 9pm) Peter Capaldi presents this documentary looking at Scottish art.
Blue Murder (ITV1, 9pm) Crime drama starring Caroline Quentin as a single mum who works as a police officer.
UK Border Force (Sky1, 9pm) Series about British immigration and customs.
Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections (National Geographic, 9pm) Series 2 of the factual show that looks at the interconnected nature of engineering inventions and innovations.
TUESDAY 8th
The Lost Land Of The Volcano (BBC1, 9pm) Documentary where the jungles of New Guinea are explored by scientists.Warehouse 13 (Sci-Fi Channel, 9pm) Sci-fi drama about two Secret Service agents tasked with finding mysterious objects. Double-bill.
The Big Food Fight (Channel 4, 10pm) Culinary quiz show hosted by Sue Perkins with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Heston Blumenthal.
WEDNESDAY 9th
Trawlermen (BBC1, 8pm) Reality series looking at offshore fishermen.Crash (BBC1/BBC HD, 8.30pm) Medical drama from Tony Jordan (Hustle, Life On Mars) about a group of medical students starting their new jobs in a Cardiff hospital.
Derren Brown: The Event (Channel 4, 10.35pm) The first of the popular illusionist's "events", broadcast live.
THURSDAY 10th
Watchdog (BBC1, 8pm) Return of the consumer advice series.Off The Hook (BBC3, 8pm) Sitcom about university freshers. Stars Jonathan Bailey, Danny Morgan, Joanna Cassidy, James Buckley & Orlanda Seal.
Alone In The Wild (Channel 4, 9pm) Ed Wardle is sent to the Yukon wilderness to survive with basic provisions.
Katy Brand's Big Ass Show (ITV2, 10pm) Comedy sketch show.
FRIDAY 11th
Derren Brown: The Event (Channel 4, 9pm) Companion show where the illusionist reveals how he accomplished his feats from earlier in the week.SATURDAY 12th

Mad Hot Ballroom (Channel 4, 10pm) Documentary following the progress of several 11-year-old New York state school pupils in competitive ballroom dancing.
