Thomas J. Wright Week - Thursday: Music & Art

Thursday! Thirsty Thursday? Thankful Thursday? No! It's Thomas Thursday (and for you non-English speakers, that doesn't rhyme as well as it appears it should!)!

A lighthearted offering today, particularly relevant for those who have a penchant to mix critically acclaimed directors with fun jingles. Remember the jingle for Lara Means Week? Did you manage to scrape that out of your brain yet? Just recently? Good -- because this will most likely replace it!

This, again, is from Steven Katzenmoyer and is both catchy and humorous -- perfect for your Thomas Thursday!

Finally, another wallpaper -- same vibe, slightly different look! Sparkle your desktop with this baby!

Enjoy!

Lara Means Week: Music and Thanks!

Friday brings us more music - this time an original piece of music dedicated to youknowwho. I warn you, this is a catchy psychedelic slice of aural homage that you're bound to be humming for days to come. This is the work of Steve Katzenmoyer, and I hope you'll find time to leave thanks for his original and exclusive offering to the week in the usual manner. Enjoy! Press "play" or download directly (MP3)!

To finish off the working week, we must throw out a thank you to the UK Horror Channel for supporting us this week - those in the UK, be reminded that Millennium runs on the channel at 20.00 weekdays. Please support them as they support Millennium - and spread the word! www.horrorchannel.co.uk - go visit!

Finally, one more offering to finish off Friday - another wallpaper - 1280x1024 (and for those who spotted by noobish mistake on the previous wallpaper, congrats - I've since corrected the error!). This one, Frank and Laura working side by side in one of the lighter exchanges they had in the show!

More tomorrow! (images again are thanks to Chrisnu)

MIDNIGHT OF THE CENTURY WEEK DAY TWO: THE FRANK BLACK CHRISTMAS SONG!

Well I hope you are enjoying BackToFrankBlack's little seasonal celebration as we spend a week in the company of season two's wonderful festive outing, The Midnight of The Century. What Christmas would be complete without Christmas music and whilst you are no doubt growing weary of the same old jingles over and over again then allow me to introduce a new carol for the hymn book, a Christmas song Millennium style.

Now some of you may remember Steve Katzenmoyer from a previous entry in which he shared a superb little ditty he had written about Frank Black which, officially became our campaign anthem. I ran the idea by Steve of creating a Millennium Christmas Song, thinking this was an all but impossible request, and being the talented musician he is, he rose to the challenge. Below you can hear the results: The Frank Black Christmas Song.

Now it may not be lost on you that there's more than a little flavour of Bobby Darin in the track and this was intentional as a homage to Frank Black's beloved entertainer and having now heard it I am sure you will agree with me that Steve has created something every Millennium fan should add to their playlist at Christmas. To help you do just that, simply click on Frank's Christmas Tree to be taken to a download link so that you can enjoy this song at your leisure.

So join with me in wishing Steven a very Merry Christmas and a truly Happy New Year and please share your thoughts with him about his work. I know how much the people who contribute to this campaign value your insights and comments. Enjoy the rest of the week!

THE SOUND OF SNOW: STEVE SINGS MILLENNIUM!

Did I mention once or twice that we have some amazingly talented individuals supporting this campaign? Today gives me the great pleasure to introduce another of these souls to you. Steven Katzenmoyer very kindly sent BackToFrankBlack an MP3 file. With memories of The Sound The Snow running through my brain I listened to it with some trepidation (only joking Steven) and absolutely loved it. Not one to keep such goodies from you guys you can do the same right here, right now. Ladies and gentlemen I give you Steven Katzenmoyer and Frank Black.

So our dear campaign has it's apparel, it's buttons, it's videos, it's podcasts and now its torch song. All we need now is some talented individual to add a few scenes to the music and we have a very tasty promotional piece that we can add to our Youtube page (hint hint).

I am indebted to Steven for taking the time to share this with us and congratulate him on such an accomplished and enjoyable creation. I am sure you will join with me in showing your appreciation and leave him a few comments regarding his work.

To join the cause you can now print out an updated pack of postcards, with an address included, by clicking the envelope icon below.

Just one postcard can make all the difference and that postcard could be yours.
