Some New "Superman: The Man Of Steel" Details Or Possibly Just Rumors?

Now rumor has it that both Warner and Snyder are strongly deciding to bring back Brandon Routh as the "Man Of Steel".
The second bit of news is is deffo true that Zach Snyder doesn't want his new film to have anything to do with the previous film, "Superman Returns" or even the films before that one.
The third piece of news is saying that the new film wont even have anything to do with the character of Superman in the old comics. He wants to come up with a fresh new idea with the character.
The fourth rumor being that Brandon Routh is DEFFO not returning. One rumor (above) saying he may and another say he DEFFO ain't!
The fifth bit of news is really true: Snyder wants to focus on the early days of Superman.
BIG Rumor Time: Tom Welling and Erica Durance may carry on from the "Smallville" onto playing Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane in the new film, seeing as it's focusing on the earlier days.
And the final rumors is old news saying that the General will be getting resurrected in the new film. And General, as in General Zod. Snyder has given no confirmation yet on the villain. He's just toying with the fans by saying Zod may appear and he may not appear. Who knows!
